Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all digital software licenses, downloadable tools (including the ARCA secrets manager at /artifacts/arca), and custom engineering or AI consulting services provided by ARCA VISION LABS LLC.

2. Standalone Software Licenses & Digital Downloads (Direct Web / Stripe)

For standalone, perpetual software licenses purchased directly through arca.vision via Stripe:

• 14-Day Refund Window: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. If ARCA does not operate as expected on your supported hardware or environment, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your transaction.
• Refund Request Process: To initiate a refund, email observer@arca.vision with your order number, purchase receipt, and the email address used at checkout.
• Post-Refund License Invalidation: Upon issuance of a refund, your commercial license key/rights are revoked, and you must permanently delete all copies of the downloaded software binary from your local devices.
• Processing Time: Approved refunds are processed immediately back to your original payment method via Stripe, typically reflecting on your statement within 5 to 10 business days.
• Statement Descriptor: Direct charges appear on your card statement as ARCA VISION LABS.

3. Digital Delivery SLA

ARCA is delivered solely as digital software. There is no physical shipment.

• Delivery window: After Stripe confirms payment, license unlock and download instructions are emailed to the checkout address, typically within minutes and in any event within 24 hours.
• Failed or delayed delivery: If you do not receive access within 24 hours, email observer@arca.vision with your order number and checkout email. We will re-issue delivery at no additional charge.

4. App Store & Third-Party Marketplace Purchases (Apple App Store)

• Platform Terms Govern: If you purchase or download software distributed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other third-party application marketplaces, the transaction is processed directly by the respective platform operator.
• Apple Refund Requests: Under Apple Developer guidelines, ARCA VISION LABS LLC cannot process, view, or issue refunds directly for App Store transactions. You must request refunds directly through Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Professional Services, Custom Engineering & Technical Consulting

• Contract-Governed Milestones: Payments for custom AI architecture, federal research engineering, and technical advisory services are governed by the specific Statement of Work (SOW) or Master Services Agreement (MSA) executed between the parties.
• Milestone Acceptance: Invoices paid upon milestone sign-off or deliverable acceptance are non-refundable, as work is performed and delivered incrementally.
• Service Retainers & Cancellation: For ongoing consulting engagements, either party may terminate or cancel upcoming billing cycles according to the written notice window (typically 14 to 30 days) specified in your service agreement. Work completed up to the date of cancellation remains billable.

6. Subscriptions (If Applicable)

• While core tools like ARCA are buy-once licenses, any optional recurring maintenance, support tiers, or hosted services may be canceled at any time through your billing portal or by contacting support.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, with no partial mid-cycle refunds.
